Prompted - An International Collection of Poems
The idea was conceived by an international group of poets that met at Robert Lee Brewer's Poetic Asides, and with the permission granted from Writer's Digest, were able to choose previous prompts from the site to use in the book. Thank you for featuring Prompted here. I am grateful to be part of such a worthwhile project.ReplyDelete
Thank you, as well, for featuring our anthology Prompted, here. The collection was as one poet quipped early on ... a collective, collaborative project. From selection of particular prompts, to cover photography and design, a collective "Strand" poem, deciding to contribute commercial profits and to whom and how to do so, to editing, and publishing, .... whew..... all aspects of the collection were "in house" and agreed upon by consensus.ReplyDelete
Thank you again - I continue to believe that if 40 internationally situated poets can come together with like-minded purposefulness there is great hope for this spinning blue marble we all inhabit !
Well said, Laurie and Pearl. Thank you, BPR!ReplyDelete
Adding my thanks as one of the poets - truly lovely to see this book getting some publicity and this is a great site!ReplyDelete
There is little I can add to the eloquent words of my fellow poets except to say how delightful this process has been. I am honored to be part of this group and to have my poems side by side with each of these very talented poets.Thank you for featuring our book!ReplyDelete
Including my personal many thanks among the poets -- genuinely beautiful to determine this particular guide benefiting from promotion as well as this can be a excellent website!ReplyDelete
